I can't upload an entry for the competition
You can only upload an entry if you have verified your e-mail address. During the
sign-up process a verification e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you entered.
You need to view this e-mail and click on the link provided to verify your
e-mail address. Please note that some mail clients may mistakenly move e-mail
from Wonabe to a Junk Mail folder. Please ensure you also check your Junk
Mail folder as well for the verification e-mail.
I did not receive a verification
e-mail.
If you never received a verification e-mail, or can't find it, please log into
your account and click on Upload. This will then prompt you to verify your
e-mail address. You will need to enter your e-mail address and click on Submit
to proceed. As above, please also check your Junk Mail folder for the verification
e-mail. If you still have problems with the verification e-mail please contact
our support department at support@wonabe.com and
we'll investigate the problem.
How do I vote?
You vote by clicking on the stars. The rating is from left to right, so clicking
on the first star from left awards the contestant one (1) star and clicking
on the end star (the last star on the right hand side) awards the contestant
five (5) stars.
How many times can I vote?
Each user is only allowed one vote per entry.
Can I correct my vote?
No, unfortunately this is not possible.
Can I get my friends and family to sign-up and vote for me?
Of course! Your friends and family are usually your biggest fans and we expect
them to support you all the way. Remember that each user is only allowed to
vote once and you can only sign-up once with an e-mail address. So each family
member or friend must sign-up with their own e-mail address.
I am having problems uploading
a competition entry video. What can I do?
If you are experiencing problems with uploading a video please contact our
support department at support@wonabe.com. We will try to respond you as soon as possible.
My competition entry video
and audio are not synchronised.
We have seen this problem in some videos where a .flv file has been uploaded.
When possible, please upload an original video of .wmv, .mov, .mpg, .3gp
or other formats. Our software converts all videos to .flv format automatically.
If you only have the .flv format and are experiencing synchronsation issues,
please contact our support department at support@wonabe.com and
we'll be able to help you.
The thumb pictures for my competition entry video are blank.
The thumbs (screen shots from your competition entry video) are taken at the
first few second of the video clip. If you have a blank sequence at the start
of the video it is possible that these blank sequences will be taken as the
thumb pictures. Please ensure your video does not contain any blank spaces.
